I used to like her, now I love her. The chapter entitled “Best Friend Rights and Responsibilities” is perfection.
Sometimes being a kindergarten teacher makes me do interesting things. Like spend a good part of Saturday making solar system books or choreographing dances to children’s songs in my apartment. But these days I walk around public places singing this song loudly. It is the song of the year for my students, and also for me. Ignore the singer if you don’t like him, but this song is delightful. You know it’s true.

This is my Thursday evening. A 9 year old is teaching me how to play chess. She gets very annoyed when I forget what all the pieces do and have to refer to my cheat sheet. One of these days I’m going to win….and then I’m going to play a 10 year old.
